50 participants registered for the one day training session, co- organized by the Croatian Tunnelling Association and the ITACET Foundation.
The objective of this course was to provide a broad introduction to the use of underground space in urban areas and the benefits of planning for such use.

The purpose of this course was to aid future owners and designers of underground spaces to create well-planned, attractive and functional underground facilities that are safe, secure and cost-effective in terms of life cycle performance.
Tunnelling in Limestone

The Foundation together with the Riyadh Municipality organized in Riyadh a seminar on "Tunnelling in Limestone".
Introduction and closing remarks were given by the host of this event, H.E Eng. Abdullah Al-Mogbel, Mayor of Riyadh and President of the ITACET Foundation.

Principles in Tunnelling design
Mechanized Tunnelling

The foundation co-organized with CBT, Brazilian Tunnelling Committee, and Herrenknecht Company a training session on "Mechanized Tunnelling".
The training session gathered 150 participants who followed with great interest the varied program.
The Foundation delegated four lecturers, namely Messrs. Andre Assis, Karin Bäppler, Fritz Gruebl, Hugo Cássio Rocha and Markus Thewes. They were joined by delegates from Herrenknecht and BASF companies who gave technological and product oriented information.
